Stephanie Montoya is an Associate Attorney at Lupton Law’s Selma, North Carolina office. Stephanie Montoya grew up witnessing the struggles and challenges faced by immigrants seeking to cross the border into the United States. Driven by a desire to help others overcome these obstacles, Stephanie dedicated her early career to studying and living abroad in Mexico to truly understand and connect with the Latino community. Her deep understanding of the complexities of immigration law and her fluency in both English and Spanish have made her a valuable resource for clients seeking guidance on a range of immigration issues.

Fueled by a passion for understanding the intricate complexities of criminal law as it intersects with immigration issues, Stephanie embarked on an academic journey that led her to earn a master’s degree in criminal justice and a law degree. A distinguished alumna of ECU, Stephanie proudly holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish. She is known for her compassionate approach and her ability to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
